Under the creative direction of Manuel Goller, Berlin-based design studio NEW TENDENCY represents a modern interpretation of the Bauhaus, one of the most influential design movements of the early 20th century. NEW TENDENCY's contemporary everyday objects, designed in minimalist and sleek forms, embody ideas and concepts beyond aesthetics as a guiding principle to continually challenge the status quo. This intersection between art, architecture and industrial design came to the fore in 2018 when the German studio collaborated with 1017 ALYX 9SM for an exclusive capsule.
